This weekend we attended the Love of Urban Design popup shop and fashion show
presented by Karine Melissa, held at Top Golf in Miami Gardens. This event was one of many held during Miami swim week. The vendors and designers that participated in this event displayed their various creative designs, products, clothes, jewelry, make-up, and many other valuable items to share with patrons that attended the show for purchase. While making our way around the room stopping at each vendor table, we had the opportunity to meet with many of them and gain insightful information on their products while doing a little shopping and supporting of our own.
While exploring the numerous vendors tables that were presented at this pop-up show and fashion show, conducted a shot interview to get to know who they are. Our first interview to take place was with “The Fitting Room” who carters to the plus size women ranging from sizes 12 and up, providing sexy and stylish attire that is dared for plus size women to wear. Next, was Kaviar Swim, who was part of the fashion show, with her new bathing suit collection called “Sugar” which consisted of all types of colorful and stylish sparkly bathing suits for women of all sizes. As we continued to make our way through the room we came upon this young girl by the name of Myla, who must be eleven years of age. She brought her line of natural lip balm called Myla’s my love beauty to display, which I couldn’t resist supporting by purchasing 2 of her lip balms, and then we Elie Tout Puissant with his brand Proud Black. In addition to those previously mentioned, there was also Me’Allure Beauty with her cosmetics line that she created and is great for women with sensitive skin. Foxxy Epoxy who handmakes resin items, displayed her products ranging from purses, name signs, key chains, and portraits just to name a few. Then there was Janise with My Fantasy World, who makes customized scented oils tailored to each individual need, printed shirts and, other body cosmetics. And lastly Island Vibes Spades Cruise promoting her spades cruise for June of next year traveling to several islands offering competitive rates while hosting a spades tournament.
After all the shopping and networking, the event went into their next phase which was the fashion show. The models, clothes, and bathing suits that were all presented on the runway were all eye catching. Ending with the mastermind of this event Karin Melissa, being presented with a proclamation from one of the officials of the city of Miami gardens for all her hard work and dedication that she has put to create this amazing event.
